Pop Up Skatepark

Ramona Skatepark Champions is working with community partners to present an after-school skateboarding program

Pop Up Skatepark

All riders must have a new waiver on file every season before they ride. Spring Session starts in September. Starting date will depend on weather and will be announced on Facebook and Instagram.

We run weekly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:30pm in the Coldwell Banker parking lot. All riders are required wear a helmet. Pads are recommended but optional. Loaner pads and helmets are available if you forget yours. This activity is recommended for kids from age six to adult and targets teens age 13 to 19.

Coaches are available on site to give lessons to beginners or help the intermediate and advanced skateboarders or scooter riders land a new trick. If your kid is new to the sport and would like to try it before you commit to the cost of equipment, we do have loaner boards and scooters.

Come see us before you buy equipment. We often have skateboard equipment available to buy at discount to members in our “Skateshop in a Box,” and we have partnerships with SDSF Pro Shop in Escondido for discounts on scooter equipment.

Sponsor a Teen

Pop-up Skatepark is a free service for Ramona teens, but we have expenses.  We value participation over profit. This is why we are a 501c3 non-profit charity. If you can sponsor a teen, click here to make a tax-deductible donation to help cover program costs for families in need.
