Ramona Skatepark
The mission of Ramona Skatepark Champions is to raise money to build a skatepark in Ramona and to support safe and healthy action sports in Ramona and the Backcountry.
Our Projects
Ramona Skatepark Champions support building a community skatepark behind the library on Main Street in Ramona. The County already owns this land and has included a skatepark in their site plan for this location. Our role in this County project is to provide oversight that the County does not forget their promises, and to facilitate communication between the County and the community as the project progresses. The County has indicated to expect funding for this project in the 2025/2026 fiscal year and for construction to begin in 2027.
Pop Up Skatepark
Ramona Skatepark Champions is working with community partners to present an after-school skateboarding program to Ramona.
Volunteer
Volunteer with us! We are actively seeking volunteers pro or pro-am skateboarders to work with kids in an after-school program.
Building Project
There is more than $260,000 allocated to the Skatepark building project in community donations and PLDO funds promised by Ramona Planning Group.
Our Sponsors
Ramona Skatepark would like to thank our sponsors for helping us to bring quality outdoor recreation to the youth in Ramona. We would not be here today without your support.
Location Sponsor
A special thank you to Sharon Quisenberry, Victoria Nayak and team. They have been so gracious to us to let us set up our Pop-up Skatepark in the parking lot of Coldwell Banker.
