Ramona Skatepark Champions promote healthy and safe action sport recreation and provide fundraising and charitable support for a community skatepark project, in Ramona, California.
DONATE ONLINE NOW WITH PAYPAL:
Our skatepark has two funds that we are working on. The first “pot of money” is the building fund, targeted at $1 million. As of November 2017, this has $250,000 of Park & Land Development Funds (PLDO) allocated, with future PLDO funds promised to this project.
Ramona Skatepark Champions is raising a community fund for the second “pot of money.” Before the County will build a community park in unincorporated Ramona, we must enter a “maintenance agreement” with the County which typically must be guaranteed with a “pot of money.” Our target for the maintenance fund is $70,000. As of November 2017, we have $2,000.
Ramona Skatepark Champions is a 501c3 non-profit organization so your donations are tax deductible. We have selected paypal for our online fundraising because there are lower fess than go-fund-me or kickstarter.
OTHER FUNDRAISING PROJECTS:
In a new program, to be launched in the 2017-2018 school year, Ramona Skatepark Champions will help to outfit participating schools with portable skatepark obstacles and professional coaches to facilitate more than just skateboard clubs! We will sponsor team athletics with intramural skateboarding competitions, and offer sponsorships to all-star boarders to participate in regional competitions.
